Our Membership Plan; run in partnership with Practice Plan, is a preventive care programme that gives you access to regular dental and hygiene appointments, exclusive discounts, and emergency support, all for a simple monthly Direct Debit. It’s designed to keep small problems from becoming big (and expensive) ones.
The Membership Plan is a private arrangement; it is not an NHS service and standard NHS exemptions do not apply. However, it often works out more cost-effective than pay-as-you-go private fees, and it gives you a consistent relationship with your own dentist at DentalShine.
Yes, individual memberships can be set up for each member of your family. As a family-run practice, we love looking after whole families and can help you choose the most suitable plan tier for each person based on their dental health needs.
We offer four tiers to suit different needs:
- 2 Exams — 2 dental examinations per year · £14.75/month
- 1 Exam & 1 Hygiene — 1 exam + 1 Airflow® hygiene session · £16.75/month
- 1 Exam & 2 Hygiene — 1 exam + 2 Airflow® hygiene sessions · £25.50/month
- 2 Exams & 2 Hygiene — full preventive package · £31.75/month
All plans include an emergency appointment during surgery hours and small x-rays as clinically required. Your dentist will advise which tier best suits your current oral health.
Payments are collected monthly by Direct Debit through Practice Plan, so there’s no need to think about it each visit. For details on the minimum term, notice period, and cancellation process, please speak with a member of our team, we’ll walk you through everything clearly.
Yes. As a member you’ll receive a 10% exclusive discount on a range of core dental treatments, from fillings and crowns to other clinical work carried out at DentalShine. This is one of the most popular benefits our members tell us about.
Each exam includes a full clinical assessment to catch any issues early, an oral cancer screening for added peace of mind, and small x-rays where clinically necessary so we can see what’s happening beneath the surface. It’s thorough, unhurried care, not a rushed tick-box exercise.
Airflow® is an advanced hygiene technology that uses a jet of air, warm water, and fine powder to remove plaque, staining, and bacteria from teeth and below the gum line, gently and effectively. All hygiene appointments in our membership plans include Airflow®, giving you a deeper clean than a standard polish. Your hygienist will also give you personalised advice to keep your smile in top condition between visits.
All plan members are automatically enrolled in Practice Plan’s Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme. This gives you access to emergency dental support even when you’re travelling abroad, a valuable safety net that comes included with every tier at no extra cost.
